RICS Homebuyers Survey

Homebuyers Survey is a detailed report that describes for each part of the property the construction, its condition, any defects and what actions should be taken before purchase. All the main structural features / disrepair are reported upon including structural movement worn out materials and damp etc.

Building Survey

Building Survey (formerly structural survey) gives a very in-depth technical report on the construction and condition. It is appropriate for homes that are unusual and so require a much longer inspection time.

This includes properties that are either very run-down, of non standard construction, exceptionally large, particularly old or have a known major structural fault.

Fees start from £450 inclusive and are based on the purchase price.
